do runners include warm up time in their overall time out running?
by natalie abadzis

On my long run, I have been jogging for 10 minutes as a warm-up, and then stopping for a stretch and then starting my 'long run' and not including the warm-up time within the overall time.....Can I include the warm up time within my overall time

first half mara, how do I warm up??
by runningscared

I know I this might seem like a daft question: I am running my first half marathon this Sunday, I'm fit enough (I'd like to think) but can anyone tell me the best way to warm up for it? I never have warmed up for any of my long runs in training

Warming up and cooling down..what do you do? TIPS
by Emma G

I'm one of those people who gets out the front door and is too tempted to go straight into running. Once I finish my run, I can't wait to get straight back inside for food/ toilet/ drink/ etc! This means I tend not to do good enough warm ups

Just wondering what people's thoughts are on this...  Good idea, or perhaps not such a good idea.... I think it would be a good idea to do a warm up and cool down. Sussex Runner (NLR) wrote (see)I think it would be a good idea to do a warm up
