On my long run, I have been jogging for 10 minutes as a warm-up, and then stopping for a stretch and then starting my 'long run' and not including the warm-up time within the overall time.....Can I include the warm up time within my overall time
I know I this might seem like a daft question: I am running my first half marathon this Sunday, I'm fit enough (I'd like to think) but can anyone tell me the best way to warm up for it? I never have warmed up for any of my long runs in training

I'm one of those people who gets out the front door and is too tempted to go straight into running. Once I finish my run, I can't wait to get straight back inside for food/ toilet/ drink/ etc! This means I tend not to do good enough warm ups
