I am just curious to know what the perceived wisdom amongst forumites is for the 'rest' period between 1000m efforts, 1 minute, 2 minutes, don't stop, just jog slowly for 500m, or what?  Working on doing about 4 - 6 1k efforts.So what are

painful ears
had a 20 min run with a mate this morning by Wabo

Alternative quad stretches
Anyone know of any? by Shortey

Does anyone know of any other quad stretches. My knees don't like the standard "curl foot up to yer bum" stretch. Actually the knees are more than happy to do this before running but not after. Grateful for any advice/help/words of wisdom. Hi
