A lot of runner enthusiast runs for a cause or just want to have fun, get out of the house and meet new friends. But whatever their goal is, either they, being a beginner or professional I advice them that they should have a solid mindset. For those who decided to start their runs, better ask yourself, what is your real goal? What is you personal reason and what really motivates you? I admit when I started my run training my reason was not really rational. All I know is just run because I am bored, I feel that I want to do something; something which I believe will make me feel better. And of course to defeat that boredom I went a marathon training, but a couple of days when I am on the middle I started to feel the pain on my knees, the tiredness, I felt I want to back out and just forget what I have started. Fortunately, my friend told me about the Half marathon Training Schedule for Beginners, At first I am not convince to try that, of course after what I’ve suffered on my run training before. I said No, then he asked me if “don’t you like the idea of getting fit? Or maybe your drive was not really motivational”. I realized that he has a point and nothing will harm if I’ll try what he has said. I am so grateful to friend of mine because when I undergo on the half marathon training schedule for beginners, I would say that my fitness has improved and those run training experiences before I’ve encountered and wrong perceptions about run training were altered.
