I've tried but I 'm so impatient I gave up! If you type in
Garmin
405
on YouTube I'm sure all the instructions that are on your disc are on there.

I got a
garmin
405
and have used it successfully for a couple of years but have never used the HRM aspect of it. I now want to change my training routine to include HRT especially due to the switch to triathlon and therefore lots turbo training. The problem is, I'm not sure which is the best setting for the watch to be on so I can work to percentage heart rate and also how to do it cos I can't find my disc.I currently have cal count on one of the screens which I want to be replaced by HR %Any help would be most appreciatedThanks
