Just started running - last week, went for a run today and felt my right
groin
starting to tighten up. Was jogging slowly for 4 minutes and walking for 1 to 2 minutes for 35 mins and 3.64k ( slow but able to breathe!). Discomfort started 10-15 mins in after walking briskly up a couple of steep but short hills. Tried to stretch it out at home very sore, I put an ice pack on the area still sore and tight 5 hours later. I feel a bit diheartend as aiming to run a 10k race for life in June. On the plus side could barely breathe running for 1 minute last week. I tend to run on country paths with some patches of road.
