Large G&T, ta!But seriously.... if you go with
hot
chocolate
, how are you going to ensure that it is
hot
for all the runners?

I'd prefer a bottle of water, as I'm lactose intolerant and can't have
hot
chocolate
.

Baileys, Drambuie, Jamaican rum... I think these would all go well in
hot
chocolate
. In fact I reckon it's up there with Guinness and McDonald's
chocolate
milkshake as being a very versatile mixer for such goodies. Where is this Santa Run?

Well I think water should be a pre-requisite anyway, but if you're gonna spend money on anything else,
hot
chocolate
sounds spot-on for that time of year. More satisfying than an energy drink and would probably make the race more memorable.

I am currently organising a 5km Santa Dash taking place in November 2011 and we have usually given out
Hot
Chocolate
to the runners. From a runners perspective would you rather receive a bottle of water or energy drink instead?Thank you in anticipation for your reply

I'd go with the rum too - there's nothing like a cheeky tipple during the day when its cold to cheer you up! Assuming though that you won't be able to serve alcohol then I'd give the
hot
chocolate
the thumbs up!One thing though - a Santa dash in November?? Santa will be far too busy wrapping my pressies..
