one final thing - there are alternatives to lock
lace
which do similarcheck out greepers , flatlines , and xtenex the latter 2 are alternative elastic
lace
solutions, greepers are standard
laces
that offer a quick on/off method of use

I think so. They dont come undone on you and great for triathlons/duathlons. You just need to get the
lacing
right to begin with - but thats pretty similar to normal
laces
too.

my biggest issue with them (got some free in the box with my asics gel noosa's) was that they are round
laces
, and at certain points they made dents on the top of my feet after a while, and that becomes uncomfortable after a few miles. i prefer flat
laces
for that reason.

yes - have been using them in all my road running shoes for some time and wouldn't go back to normal
laces
nowit makes shoes easier to get on and off, no faffing with
laces
coming undone when you run, and they help blood flow when the foot expands on long runs as they expand with the footonly downside is "mud suck" as the foot will pull out of the shoe if the mud is sticky - simple answer, avoid mud and use trail shoes instead (in which I do use normal
laces
)

lacing
them correctly or it's my foot (like BDB below). So my question is - how do you
lace
them correctly?Badly Drawn Bloke wrote (see)I didn't get on with them. I found they pinched my feet too much on anything over a few miles.

+1 in favour. I've been using them for about six months and wouldn't go back to ordinary
laces
. As well as the easy of use once they're on, I don't get blister trouble any more as the Lock
Laces
all some flexibility in the tightness of the shoe once they're done up.

Just used them in my trail shoes for the first time and loved them. They were secure all the way round and very easy to adjust when I realised they were a bit tight. The reason I bought the Lock
laces
was that the original
laces
in my shoes were only just long enough to tie a bow so I wasn't confident that they'd stay tied for long.

I've been really wanting to try the xtenex
laces
, but simply cannot justify them since viewing this cute video on how to tie your
laces
so they don't slip: http://www.fitsugar.com/Best-Way-Tie-Running-Shoes-21876168Sweet, huh? And so far, it really works...

Got given a pair by Secret Santa on here two years ago..never looked back, now on my fifth pair...I used to suffer with pulling my
laces
too tight before races...not now.
