Cross country spikes work brilliantly on
snow
and ice.

I use roclites, perfect for
snow
.11 and a bit mile done round a beautiful Sutton Park this morning. As has been said, off road in the
snow
is tough but it was well worth it!

I managed to run Fri, Sat and Sunday in a bit of
snow
, and cold....just tread carefully, no problem. In fact on Friday it was blue skies white
snow
and enjoyable!Have fun out there everyone.

I'm with Dustboy on this- though ask me again in a few more weeks of
snow
and my marathon training may be out the window.10.41 miles XC in the
snow
. hould have been 14 miles but the
snow
got the better of me and my legs were hurting. Hopefully 10 miles in the
snow
is equivalent to 14 and my training plan won't be too off target

at the beginnig of london training last year- bambi on ice it was but was great to run through the park in the
snow
, just me and the deer!!was a bit tricky to start with but was fine once I got into it!

Just back from a ten miler, certainly wasn't breaking any landspeed records in the
snow
but was surprisingly enjoyable

Just thought I'd add my own 2 cents. For those of us who are used to
snow
all winter long, a nice way to gain traction is using some old trainers for Screw Shoes . Sounds like another snowy one for you guys over in the UK again. We just got our 1st good
snow
, 14 inches, of the year here. Waaaay different than the 70F degrees (21C) and sun I was running in last weekend.Hope this helps you enjoy your
snow
runs! Treadmills are the devil's machine.
