I've been taking ice showers for the past year or so but today tried an 'ice bath' for the first time.' DOes anyone know how long these should be donw for ? I felt fine after 10-15 mins (and a lot better actually) but just wondering? Also does

Are ice baths woth taking?
and pace, stretched thoroughly and even went to the extremes of taking ice cold baths after running. So far the injury doesn't seem to have raised it's ugly little head again and I feel I might be clear but I was wondering if stopping the ice baths

So my physio has advised me to "ice" my knee for 30mins each day. I have apparently a small tear to the fascia of my ITB. I have no swelling or oedema.So, out of interest 1)what is the physiological benefit sure it goes cold but what are we trying
