Costs and benefits.

I hear the London Marathon charge charities £300 each for a place in the race,and club runners £29.And make about £3 1\2 million a year from UK charities.Wouldn't it be better to charge the charity runners the same as the club runners

Training question

Obtaining Entry

I would like to take part in the London Marathon . What are my chances of getting in ?, what's the best way ?.I have never run a marathon before but do a fair bit of running 15 25 miles pw.Done winter and summer tough guy 4/5 times in a decent time
