but not shattered. I know what you mean!However I've found that a Heart Rate monitor helps (HRM). Im no expert on these but I have ascertained what my approx 5k/10k/halfM/marathon heart rates are and then use the HRM so that my recoveries are slower than marathon

before! How you do in the second one depends on your experience so that if you've run the first marathon comfortably and just enjoyed it you can do light recovery type running in the week and be ready for the second one no problem.Remember also to refuel

What should i be doing AFTER a half marathon?

enlighten me? How much rest to take after a hard race is fairly individual to the runner themselves. I would have a couple of easy days of active recovery after a half or a marathon. The active recovery could include some brisk walking or slow running
