Just how long should you leave it before you start running again after a half marathon.I have now done 2, Sheffield last month and Blackpool this weekend just gone.It took me around a week and a half to recover from Sheffield, had real problems

Does anyone have experience of managing this kind of injury this close (3 weeks) to a marathon, and how would you manage the recovery/ exercise/ taper aspect?

i started running with a friend and did a 10k, but it wasnt until i was in recovery from thyroid cancer that in 2004 that i began to train for my first half marathon. I believe running was and continues to be the most important part in my recovery
