- I just tried to check the half marathon website to see if it had any info on there about whether the Buncefield incident and how it'd affect the course, but it's not been updated yet. Unless anyone has any other reliable sources of info? I did

I ran this Manchester marathon.and wow it was a fantastic day from start to finish,the support was amazing.i watched London week before and ive got to say the crowds were as good as London if not better,will be doing this race next year again

you, the convoluted route would favour that so maybe that is part of the reason. I did this last year and it was my first half marathon - don't have any aims, just get round and try to run most of the way and take it slow. If you're from st albans
