off road now - ACL rupture
I'm Type 1 insulin dependent Diabetic recovering from an ACL reconstruction.
Gentle runs at the moment due to ACL reconstruction 6 months ago!
Rugby player, been out of action due to ruptured acl and torn meniscus, not fun.
I have just started jogging after ACL reconstruction and looking to improve fitness to participate in other sports
I'm Running a 10km charity run in September to help raise money for Breast cancer, but also to try and get fit after 2 ACL reconstructions on my knee
Getting back from an ACL injury and would like to get fitter and run more. I'm aiming to run in marathons and half marathons in the next couple years.
I am in my early 50's and just returned to running. As I have an old ACL injury I am taking it slowly but I am really enjoying it.
Feels very lucky that I'm still able to run, having torn both ACL and meniscus because of hockey, really makes me appreciate what I've got and able to do in life.
The rugby days are looking over after ACL injury (amongst many others)so now eyeing up my next challenge to see if what used to be 15stone of rugby tone can be dragged 26.2miles round a city.
