Started power walking in Feb 07, by Sept 07 I had lost over 2 stone (i needed to!) The walking got harder on my calfs so I started jogging.

First Marathon FLM 05-mission accomplished. Love winter running and looking forward to the 2006 season. Constantly fighting a calf strain but I will not be deterred!

I ran the London Marathon in 2003. Having suffered with cramp for about 9 miles I still get calf cramp "on demand" 12 months later. Any Ideas?

I used to do a lot of running but due to prolonged injury in both calf muscles had to stop for several years. Now beginning to get back into it slowly and loving every minute.

Unfortunately I consistently get injured. I have problems with my right calf and both achillies otherwise I would be running all the time
