I'm looking to enter my first 5k or 10k race quite soon as I've registered to enter the Glasgow half marathon in September and want to find a schedule that will gear me up for that event

Keen gym attendee focusing on strength, core,spinning and general cardio. Have ran a few 5k races and would now like to jump up a gear, if my body and mind will let me given that I am also studying

I am 39 I have been running on and off for 4 years, have done a couple of 5k and 10k races for cancer research. I now what to notch it up a gear and am training to a half marathon by the end of April

and get my a*se in gear........so the plan is Ironman in 2013 with the remainder of 2011 and hopefully most of 2012 getting myself ready.....

the right gear and food etc. I just want to enjoy running and improve over time. I'm hoping to find the enthuiasm so evident in your magazine to keep me going.
