I just ran the Hastings Half Marathon aftr training since November and had a hard race. I think it was because I had had flu the weekend before and was coming back from a groin strain.

Mad keen on running for last 3 years since i kicked the ciggies!Had nightmare 2008 injury wise tho. Hopefully my groin will cause me no more grief hehe.Married to jayne and have a great wee 3 year

I started running in the early 80s and got to a reasonable standard but in 1991 I got a bad groin injury plus my son was born in 1993.In the last few years I basically start running in March

I have been running regularly for the last 7 years but after a bad injury 3yrs ago (snapped tendons in groin)that took 12months to recover from I have become totally out of shape and very overweight
