I'm interested in running as a beginner and maintaning fitness. Have previously run but generally give up as I start to eager and end up with an injury and not having the ability to walk after one

Having made it out of the carpark (hurrah), iam now running 5 miles every other day, usually in around 40 mins. Taking things very slowly has helped me avoid injury and get a handle on those general

biggest hurdle; also I keep suffering from minor, generally, knee/leg injuries which does not help!

I really enjoy running but unfortunately my legs do not! Am very injury prone (generally ITB causing knee issues, or shin splints) if I run more than 10 miles a week, which is pretty frustrating
