Im at Liverpool John Moores University and im currently looking into ankle injuries and the prevention of injury through taping or through rehabilitation
would like to find a better shoe that prevent injury and can stand lots of mileage
Looking to get into running routine therefore looking for tips and advice on how to prevent injuries & maximise efficiency & keep motivated.
Heavy-weight runner [17st]- used to do much more, but weight/injury prevents longer distance
I'm a Personal Trainer specialising in prehabilitation (injury prevention) and rehabilitation primarily using Muscle Activation Techniques
I used to run competively over 12 years ago , knee injury prevented me from continuing now just do it for enjoyment and fitness for squash & snowboarding
ex-swimmer - took up running when shoulder injury prevented training in the pool - shoulder subsequently got better and now do both!!
I have just completed the Edinburgh full marathon but after 18 miles an ankle injury prevented me running the last 8 miles so walked most of it, I need to run another one to prove to myself I can do it :)
