Underwent cruciate ligament reconstructive surgery Sep 02 - never looked back
I'm currently injured with ruptured ligaments in my ankle. So rather fed up.
I tore my cruciate ligament in march 07 so I am trying to get back to fitness.
Torn posterior and anterior cruciate ligament, awaiting keyhole surgery. Continuing with light running and cycling to build quads to aid post op recovery.
Recovering from a nasty ankle ligaments injury. Any tips on strengthening are very welcome. 3months from injury and walking well, running is still painful in heel & inside lower shin.
Returned to running (I hate it!) after Knee ligament reconstruction following rugby injury about 10 years ago. Still unable to fully extend knee so run like quasimodo
Trying to get it all back, used to run 3-5k every other day, sprained my ankle badly, small tear in the anterior tibial ligament. Looking for support and information.
ligament tears in both the knees and screws in one knee, which underwent surgery for cruciate ligament tear, cartilage tear and hairline fracture.
I started running diring physiotherapy after purturing the anterior cruciate ligament in my right knee. As I got fitter, I started to enjoy the longer distances and now tend to run around 50k a week
Was training for my first marathon (Belfast, 4th May) this year, but wrecked medial collateral ligament in March and it's still not better 5 weeks on.....now trying to battle the bulge I'd be staving
