The old story really... no good at long distance running as a kid, thought I couldn't ever do long distances - killed the demon and enjoyed keeping going.

I have just started running both on tredmill, and 5k road or reservoir runs. My motivation is to keep fit, and to experience the thrill of completing a long-distance run

My favourite weekly run is my long run, usually with my friend and running partner, Jackie. We take it in turns to have a yak or a rant depending on how we feel.
