The old story really... no good at long distance running as a kid, thought I couldn't ever do long distances - killed the demon and enjoyed keeping going.
After a long time out of running i have bounced back in one year of training and my times are improving rapidly for middle to long distance riad races.

My favourite weekly run is my long run, usually with my friend and running partner, Jackie. We take it in turns to have a yak or a rant depending on how we feel.
New to running as have been convinced to run the Race for Life this year. First run I managed 90 secs! Have now improved but still a long way to go
