My trainers are just about knackered. My foot is only v slim and needs cushioning-whats the best type? How much should a novice runner be doing in terms of miles per session?

I have been injured and a little lazy over the last 2 years before that I was running around 70 miles per week including 2 speed sessions. Now I am coming back and I plan to run 2 marathons this year.

I've done a couple of half marathons before but this is my first attempt at a full marathon. Its been a struggle to fit in the training sessions and I wonder whether I have done enough to get round

Covering 40 miles per week on foot and another 40 on the bike plus 4 gym/circuit sessions is really eating into my 1/2 marathon times. Since my first onw in Oct 07 I have improved by nearly 1-minute
