I have just started running and i use a heart monitor to train. I find running quite addictive and have to be quite strict with myself so as not to overtrain.

forever I took to running outdoors next stop was my first half marathon. After a hamstring injury last year caused by overtraining I've been learning to train hard but train smart.

minute of it. Generally overtrain and injure myself so going back to basics at the moment and running some 5k's to get a bit of speed in my legs. Can't cycle and I swim like a 70's disco dancer so Tri

sense of overtraining. My long term goals are a sub-0:20 5K, sub-0:45 10K, sub-1:40 half marathon and the sub-3:30 marathon. As of 2005/11/28:5K PB = 25:2310K PB = 57:00
