I returned to running in January 2007 after three years and three knee ops. Completed 2007 Bristol half marathon and now wanting to start picking up the pace.

I only started just before Christmas and would like to do a Rat Race later in the summer so am aiming for that at a slow pace.

I'm definately a plodder rather than a runner. I seem to have one pace fits all (slow!)

First ever run in Manchester Great Run 10k. Trained regularly, ran my training pace and ran below my target (just). Really enjoyed it and will be doing many more.

Currently in training for my 1st 10k and then i hope to move on to Half Marathons. Slow paced runner but doing it for enjoyment/exercise rather than competitively.
