Just startedrunningbut due to toarn calf muscle, resting at present, training towards Triathlon. I am 44 yrs old and trying to get the rest of the family involved.
Presently in Iraq with HM Forces so unable to participate in any organised running events. Hoping to do Great Cumbrian Run in October when I finish here.
Find it hard to keep motivation up at times. Had ankle injury and have dodgy knees but want to persevere. Back to training but only couple of miles at time at present.
I am a member of Elswick Harriers and have been running for them for 1 year now. My target at present is the London Marathon 2008.
At present I am a frustrated injured runner and to stay active have started climbing, hill walking, swimming more and yoga. I am desperate in search of that therapist who may be able to help.

Im looking to get up for 10k but am working on my 5k at present, currently running 3.5miles in 23.33
Have only just started running [ May 2006 ] but aim is for FLM in 2007. Am carrying a few extra pounds neh stones at present. Let's see how it goes.
I am presently training for a 10k run as part of my university degree which I need to complete in the fastest possible time.
Just getting back into it after about 15 years off. Main aims at present involve being able to see shoes again and not getting burnt off by small children, tortoises etc.
