I have always been a runner on and off since school. I have been doing a few triathlons recently, and plan to run more this year, and do a few running races. Would like to run the London Marathon
I quit smoking 3 months ago tomorow and since then ive discovered a whole new life. Im enjoying learning all about jogging and im looking forwards to being able to do a race for a charity one day
I have started running in the last few days and am doing my first race this year. Very much a beginner and a recent ex-smoker so will take a while for the fitness levels to improve!
I am really just getting into the regular running and latterly racing. My first event was the Wedding Day 7K this year and I didn't die so it must be doing some good
Bunch cycle racing is my first love, but i have always run, so i do Duathlons now and again, and have done some tris including UKIM70.3 as i hope one day to complete an Ironman.
I run mainly for fun on and around the local fells and am hoping to break into adventure racing in 2009. A sub 3.5 hour marathon in London is my major target for next year, 2010 will hopefully see me
Many years ago was Bournville school xc captain & ran for Kings Norton District.Have run 4 Marathons incl 2 London- best time 2hrs 58 min. Best Half Marathon 1hr 24min. Favourite races these days
(Peterboro') runner in my younger days. These days I can be found starting at the back of races and hopefully working my way through! Still a joy to run despite the pain.
to enjoy it now but might give it some at a race if I feel like it on the day. I enjoy running on my own or with company but I am not a member of a running club.
in events to build me up and get me use to race days again. Hopefully once the marathon is over I will continue with local 10 mile & Km races to keep fit.
