I will be increasing my weekly mileage from Oct 07 for x-country races, half marathons & Flora London Marathon
I started running on the 23rd May for the first time. I entered the Race for Life 5K on the same day, and managed to run 10K on a treadmill 3 days before the race.It wasnt enough to prepare me
one day i came over all funny and actually agreed to run with a friend in a race me run ha! most people who know me would never expect me to run upstairs let alone a race well i train regularly
Started running to lose weight. Lost 4stones and haven't stopped yet (despite the dodgy akles).One day I'll find a local race on a day I'm not working....
I love running i train every day, and i do speed work 3 days a week, 8x400 meters. I really run with great spirt and when the races come i am all fiered up.
Getting into ultra's these days. Ran The Tour Du Mont Blanc in 2001(not the NF Ultra race), covered 115 miles over 5 days). 2006/2008 Thames Meander (54 miles). Thames Path Ultra (50 miles) 2007
Started running to recover from climbing accident in 2003, since then gone from marathon (first race!) to ultras.I ran the Pembrokeshire Coast Path at the end of May 2006 over 6 days, 30 miles a day
my best race to date was the great north run on their 25th annaversary i ran it in 1hr 49 on my 40th birthday as well great day.......
Started running at the start of the year. Done a few 10k races and a half marathon. Hopefully get to do a full one one day!
