I have done a lot of recreational running, but now due to an old ankle fracture playing up and a stress fracture on my foot i am concentrating on power walking as this doesn't hurt my foot/ankle. I

Seem to spend half of my running life injured.....in three years I have torn my hamstring, had several doses of shin splints, got a stress fracture in the tibia and torn my achilles.....still love

I had a lower back stress fracture in 2003 so I had to stop running for a year. I have since moved from Florida, USA to England and have finally started training again. Need to find a running group

Everything was going fantastically, managed some great times {for me!}. Never thought I would or could ever run- then disaster struck trained too fast/ too hard/too soon and ended up with a stress
