trainers dirty. At the same time though I decided to raise a bit of money for charity. I'm gradually working my way up the distances and I always love a challenge. Rain, snow, mud, ice, melting hot tarmac

mostly. For example, last month (January 2011) i ran almost just shy of 30 miles and felt great for it. This month (February 2011), i have not donned my running shoes and hit the tarmac once

't really bother about fitness at all until well into my forties.Almost all of my running is on tarmac, originally around the streets of Southampton, or Southampton Common, and more recently around country
