Completed over 50 Marathons, most under 3 hours, never stretched or warmed up, never saw the need to, very few injuries just raced week in and week out for 20 years. Any distance 3 miles to marathon

research teams need as much backing as possible to beats these deadly diseases. after warming up slowly with my training i was diagnosed with exersise indused asthma and also have some form of knocking knee

tore my calf due to poor warm up. Since then I am struggling to get back out there!! Although my running was mainly for the feel good and keep fit factors I really want more from it, so race and charity

, and during the run you go (not quite all the way) up and down the height of Scafell. Oh yeah, forgot to mention the equivalent of 152 lengths of your local swimming pool just to warm up. That's got to be worth

running deteriorated so much that I tought about quitting for good, also due to knee problem (especially the right one) I should also state that it is not the knee itself but right under it. Once warmed up

, breathtaking open water swimming!The lake covers 1.6acres, providing clearly marked loops of 400m. Being relatively shallow, the water will warm up nicely as the spring and summer sunshine heat

's running the Marathon des Sables and the Norseman Xtreme Triathlon but this is just a warm up. In 2012 he will face his greatest challenge (Challenge50) - to run 50 marathons in all 50 countries in Europe
