How to recognise it, how to overcome it

will attempt to run through a meniscal cyst. Surgery and appropriate physiotherapy with quadriceps exercises should mean that you can be running fluently within a month or so.

if anyone has any experiences with one of these cysts? It wasnt there before the op and as the surgeon was a little evasive on the cause, i wonder it hes made an arse of the procedure. prick!Help! lol Thanks for the post reneyico but dont think it registered

in this way with foot fixed.. Or taken a blow to the inside of your lower leg.Differential diagnosis could be meniscal tear, cyst, ITBS, bursitis etc so you're doing the right thing getting it checked out. Hope its a non serious outcome for you. Thanks siance

..and more importantly, how do I correct it?

. An Orthopod diagnosed it as torn meniscal cartilage and when he operated he also found a meniscal cyst.I'm not back to full pace, in fact not even walking far yet, but it has only been two weeks.I am hopeful that my problems have been solved.Good Luck!!! GP

damaged Meniscal on the outside of my left knee?I think i do suffer from ITBS but i don't think it is this that stops me running, the pain i get is right in the joint of my knee where the two bones meet, the pain is un-bearable, feels like my knee is shot
