did my first half marathon last week and start training soon for VLM. Our kids were indifferent to the Olympics before they started (too young to know what it's all about really)so we made the Opening Ceremony into a bit of a party night to try
Just entered this as my first olympic distance race. Who else is doing it?
Okay to start with I probably have no chance. My last Marathon was 4 hours 15. Not fantastic but not bad. I was however thinking that in 2012 I will be 34 and wanted to know what the process would be to compete in the Marathon at the olympics

am I the only runner who could not give a fig (or rather an olive!)about the olympics.I am a mediocre runner who would never watch sport on tv or anywhere unless injured. my reasons:(1) the professionalism of the athletes or lack of professionalism
lugekiteboardingdownhill inline skating Sking - a brit might win when there's no snow shopping - definately a good one for Britain... in fact, it might be my olympic chance!! Definitely............ Bombing in the pool. Points for highest splash, most ornate splash pattern
does anyone no the criteria for running an olympic marathon and is there an age limit ,just thought it might be nice to have a go around about 2hrs 15 - 2 hrs 20 qualifying time not something perhaps one can 'have a go' at I wouldn't botheryou
I read something in the paper yesterday about ticket availability for the olympics. I checked the official site and to my amazement found tickets available for almost every single athletics event. I'm going to the 100m final! Now I've started
from Brendan Foster Glad they got rid of that Ortis bloke though - he was awful, poor chap! I remember hearing some ridiculous figure per medal/gold medal after Bejing, though I'm not sure if that was for the whole of the British Olympic team or just
