What is the name of the condition that prevents blood flowing through muscle?

for a massage and it was gone, the masseur described it as "aschemic" or something - a condition whereby there was a blockage in the muscel fibre preventing blood flowing. I did feel a solid "lump" in my leg which was broken up and dispersed
