moderate pronation control. Ortholite footbeds hug the foot while also reducing odour. Traction was good on woodchip trails and on hard ground but struggled in wet grass and in thick mud, and the toggle lacing system was slightly fiddly.
Salomon products (tops and tights also). Weaknesses: In general they are very comfortable. The grip is second to none on trails, snow, mud. The seem quite durable, especially given the terrain I run on. The price is worth it as I don't have to think about
on and off - no laces to loosen afterwards and they don't loosen up whilst running. Overall: Good for winter runs to get me outside but wouldn't use them too often. Red Hot Cucumber: Excellent grip on a variety of surfaces: snow, trail, grass. Fit OK
