Doing Brighton marathon in April. Following the advanced programme from runners world magazine. Target is sub 3. I've done London in 2010 (3:26) and Brighton in 2011 (3:19). Never really used a schedule before just winged it on about 4 days a week

I am currently on the Improvers schedule as printed in Feb issue of runners world, overall I find it good but i am finding that I miss at least one of the required days every week, usually the saturday one, which is always before the long run
Did I misread the advice in runners world or is it right that they have pacers in every pen on the red and blue starts but none at the green.According to the info in the FLM final instructions, my number(32227)starts at green. I would have liked

Is it just me or are the women on the front of the Runners World mag getting thinner and more anorexic looking as the months go by? For a mag trying to promote such a great sport/passtime you could do a lot worse than putting some 'real' people
