Coming to play in the sand?

Did this race for the first time last year. Just 4 miles - fast & furious (if it wasn't for the sand, groins, etc.) Great fun & it finishes at a pub.Any other forumites going? Might come & watch!I hear that entries are filling fast. Dunnarunner

Then you need sand gaiters

Just got back from running 120km in Tunisia, no blisters and no problems - probably thanks to a sand gaiter I copied from one used last year by a group of Army lads made of kite material. If you're going this year, and haven't sorted these out yet

Well take a look at that I made a castle in the sand

these things are usually linked. Ah well it doesn't stop me running! What: 14 miles evenly spilt over  tarmac / gravel and packed sand in 1hr 45 mins. Why: Aim was to do Medium long run at marathon pace, but I rather exceeded that and ran at 7-30 pace.. oops
