Have just got a place in the 2009 London Marathon and I am looking for a Schedule to follow, teh Imtermediate one on RW looks good but what does the following mean, 7M. Warm up, then 10 x 1 min fast, 2 mins slow. there are alos others like tis

..weird but true), 5-7 minutes on the road (harder surface tougher on the knees).Before injury I was running up to 12 miles in training....that's clearly off the agenda......but does anyone have a good "recovery" schedule? After such a long break should I go back

Further to my previous posting. I am trying to follow the 10 km training schedule, 6/7 days per week aiming for between 35-45 minutes. As I am a postie and fastwalk for 4 hours on delivery, should I adjust this schedule or shouldn't I!! I am 39

I know everyone swears by 'Heart Monitor Training for the Compleat Idiot', but I'm skint, so can anyone suggest a good schedule online to get me started? Ta! What about the ones on this site? There is some pretty good info re heart monitor training.
