Can anyone recommend some soft deep lush cushioned shoes the softer the better. I used to have some Mizuno rainbow SHOES ( CAN ANYONE REMEMBER THEM ) 10 years ago and have not found any think like them since. Danny, I always used to run in Nike

With no raised heel

Apart from the extreme minimalist shoes, are there any running shoes out there that are flat (no heel) but still have some cushioning? I've been wondering the same Matt - I forefoot strike and hence all that heel stuff is just a waste of time

't find a shoe with enough cushioning for me - kept getting pain in the balls of my feet, with eventual numbness spreading from my toes up - nothing to do with lace tightness, I even tried it with the laces undone to same result. I tried the Sucaonay Grid

supinate . Wweight has a lot to do with the perception of how the cushioning feels . If a cushioning shoe is categorised as firm it may feel very firm to someone who is 10st but feel soft to someone who is 15st . That said I am nearer the 15st mark than
