very tricky surfaces - they passed the test very well and were comfortable enough on the tarmac sections of this race. Trust me, they are a good, versatile shoe!
Has anyone done this one? What's it like? Firstly the good bits. It is a very well organised race and the facilities at the start and finish are excellent. The course is very pleasant, running through tarmaced country lanes. They accept entries
(even tarmac is better than concrete), but you *should* be able to do it without the problems you are having, so there would appear to be more to it than that.
Quick question - i train in barefoot on grass and beach, but run a few 5km races on horrible gravel and tarmac. I need a very lightweight racing shoe that has minimal cushioning, no medial posts etc... in other words a very basic, lightweight shoe

? Undulating - not really hilly but certainly not flat. It runs around the tarmac that used to be the airport apron but also through some off-road bits. Like any airfield it tends to be open and therefore testing if windy.I am marshalling the London to Brighton
