newbie marathon advice

Hi there.  Trying to enter FLM 2009 (probably with a charity place if possible). Anyway planning on trying a marathon before london so i know i can 'do' the distance, presumably i ought to do it a long time before?!! thinking of a september marathon

do circuit training as well and take 2 days off running altogether, i trialed it for 2 months at the begining of the year and, WOW my times are faster i feel fresher and am on course for a sub 4 hour marathon, has anyone else changed their routine
