I'm running the Bath Half in March for the first time and have just found out that ipods etc are banned... Now, I can manage a short-ish run without music but not sure a whole 13 miles will be do-able and I'm starting to panic...  Has anyone been to a race where music is banned? ...

for orienteering? Although I'm not really sure how much of an advantage it would be - any use you had out of it would surely slow you down as you pondered your trail on the screen - unless you were really lost. And orienteers aren't generally the type who get very
