Evaluation The Response Comp combines the feel of a training shoe and a racing shoe to good effect. Its fit is relatively relaxed, and it has way above average cushioning for a racing shoe (though far less, of course, than a normal training shoe). Its moderately stable, too, with a decent heel counter and a midfoot support strap built into the lacing (though if you need much stability, look to Adidass 275g Taper RC, which has a full-length medial post but a flatter feel). In addition, of course, the Response Comp gives you the responsiveness and fairly effortless feel of a (heavy) racing shoe. Its a good first-time racing shoe, or marathon racer for serious runners.
