Evaluation The FGT320 is the biomechanically neutral option of Filas two new forefoot-oriented shoes (this and the FGT340). It uses the same springy carbon-graphite plate, which gives an exceptionally smooth forefoot ride. In fact, it has essentially the same midsole and outsole as the FGT340, just without the medial post. That means it has a very stable midfoot and cushioning thats relatively firm.
The other difference over the FGT340 is that the FGT320 has a much lighter upper, which is better-shaped in the forefoot. In all, wed say that if you want to try Filas forefoot cushioning technology, this is the everyday trainer to choose out of the two. It has a similar ride, a superior upper, and its better value for money.
In short Filas £70 FGT shoe doesnt stand out at its price point, but this £60 option fares much better against its peers. Its stable enough for neutral runners and very mild overpronators, and while its not exceptionally well cushioned, it has a nice forefoot ride.
