Evaluation If you liked Puma’s 287g Preside or its 203g Cellerator PR Racer, chances are you’ll like the Cell Prompt. It’s a soft, smooth racer that’s light enough for most distances. The old-style Cell cushioning in the rearfoot gives a perky heel-strike and the forefoot is nice and flexible. The upper is roomy in the forefoot and relatively heavy – but on the positive side, it has a protective feel. You have to be biomechanically efficient to use it, though, because the scooped-out midsole in the midfoot leaves very little support, despite the medial post right behind it.
