10 MAY 2009: BERLIN 25KM, GERMANY

The Berlin 25km has one of the best reputations for quality organization and is certainly one of the best known of all European races. Starting and finishing at the Olympic Stadium and takes in famous landmarks such as the Brandenburg Gate and Kurfurstendam. There is also a supporting 10km.

Itinerary

Sat 9 May:  Depart from Heathrow on BA992 at 1055 arriving at Tegal 1355. Check into the Quality Hotel for 2 nights.

Sun 10 May: Race Day.

Mon 11 May: Depart from Tegal on BA993 at 1435 arriving Heathrow at 1535.

Race entry fee: 25km - Before 19 Apr £28/Before 9 May £32. 10km - Before 19 Apr £12/Before 9 May £14. Timing chip hire £5.

Hotel

We will be staying at the 4-star Hotel Berlin, which is ideally located for easy access to all parts of Berlin by the Zoological Gardens. All rooms have bathrooms en suite, hairdryer, HDTV, tea/coffee making facilities and wi fi. Buffet breakfast included.
