Designed "to be faster with the rider than without", is the new plasma5 that fast?
Seen decked out in a very fetching camo paint job at the IM European Championship, Sebastian Kienle's bike got almost as much attention as the speeding German and now SCOTT have announced it's a brand new bike for the TT and triathlon market.
Named the plasma5, SCOTT have based the their design around the bike and rider being as one and it seems that the result have been good. The main focus according to SCOTT has been on ergonomics and adjustability, especially with the saddle and handlebars position to suit all riders and achieve a better aerodynamic performance.
Fuel storage also came up as a key point in the bike's design and now sees a 'sophisticated storage system that stands above the rest due to its high degree of usability, while not hampering the aerodynamics of the bike nor the ergonomics of the rider.' That's a pretty big deal.
More info when we get it, or even better, put one to the test.
