Gear Pick of the Week: Limar Ultralight+ Road Helmet

Limar Ultralight+ Road

Limar Ultralight+ Road Helmet Review (£119.99)

Joe says: If shaving weight off your ride is a priority, look no further. The Limar Ultralight+ Road is the world’s lightest helmet.

Available in road and MTB versions, the medium size weighs just 175g (53-57cm) and the large a mere 200g (57-61cm). It also has 22 designed air vents and back-rear winglets, making it airy as well as featherlight on your ride.

The micrometric fitting system allows for a flexible fit, plus there’s an in-moulded bug net to stop pesky flies and bugs impacting on your performance. And if racing and training style is high on your list, you can pick from a choice of five colours. The only area for improvement was the inside padding, which could offer a little more comfort.

This helmet can proudly claim to be the lightest in the world. It’s an easy to use and fit and if weight tops your priority list, this is definitely worth a look.
