Slightly Disappointed I found this race a real mixed bag so I will start with the negatives first sinI can finish on a high.

Compared to other races I have entered in London (2 in Hyde Park and 2 in Olympic Park) there was very little correspondence prior to the race..

Also at the venue I felt that there were inadequate toilt facilities as there was limited public toilets in the park and only 3 portable toillets meaning there was still a fairly long queue right up to when we were lining up to start.

I was also slightly disappointed there was no goody bag, just a medal, for £18 you get a lot more in the other races I have entered

On a positive side it was very well organised on the day and the people at the start and also all of the marshalls around the course were very friendly and helpful.

All in all slightly disappointed compared with other London runs I have done but I would still definitely do it again.

Great race! Enjoyed it all! I had a fantastic time at this event. Its only my 2nd event and I loved the fact it was 3.2 mile laps, so I could pace myself. The marshals were fantastic and very encouraging! I also achieved a new PB!! Will definitely go next year! :)

Relatively small event, but well organised. Easy to get to Southwark Park - just a 5-7 min walk from Bermondsey tube station.

Relatively small event with approx. 250 runners. Perhaps lacked a little atmosphere because of the size.

Bib numbers and timing tags (strap around ankle) collected on the day.

Efficient bag drop also available.

3 laps around the park - the route is quite scenic - clear signage and effective marshalling.

Decent medal at the finish.

No water at the finish, but water (bottles) available on route.

A Great Saturday Morning I had a real fun morning, Southwark Park is Stunning and well kept in the centre of London. The marshal were very friendly and encouraging, The race was a three lap course all in the park, which I loved, as I hate street running, the route show cased the true beauty of the Park.Loved the guy playing the guitar, I wore my medal with pride in the Pub. Ill be back next year!!

Great organisation in a lovely park Great organisation from start to finish. Marshals vocal and encouraging, as always at PB races, love the little girl handing out Jelly babies! I never realised Southwark park was so lovely. Great flat course for beginners, and PB hunters, and water half way round and at the end! Results and photos posted in super quick time.

No regular km markers, not enough water at finish. Save your money and do a park run twice instead. I picked this run to see how much closer I was getting to my 2015 goal of a sub 50min 10k. The race was advertised as having 1km markers - in reality it had a 2km marker, a 5 km marker and a 9 km marker so totally misleading. This made pacing more difficult than I needed it to be. Also they ran out of water after the finish. The route featured a total of 9 u-turns, which wasn't great either. For an £18 entry this poor vfm - if you want a run without markers you are better doing a park run route twice and saving your money. The only positive thing was the marhsals - who were plentiful and encouraging.
