Excellent run with a welcoming feel Lovely weather, nice size field and good atmosphere. It was my first time at this race and would defiantly do it again next year.

Manky weather but a fast, interesting course As we all decided to leave the car park at once it was a bit slow going. Fair play to the marshall who thought to turn the entrance into an exit.

Perfectly flat makes for very quick run Great run on a very cold day but that didnt dampen spirits. Perfectly flat leads to a very quick run. A course record for me personnly beating last years time by 30 seconds. Really enjoyed this run despite the cold weather. I will be back next year.

Superb race, why would anybody moan this year? I got a pb by nearly a minute, the weather was freezing but everyone was still smiling. Parking was fine, a massive field, some cars were skidding but that was due to the weather.

The course was two laps very flat and fast and the distance was spot on, i'll be doing this again next year for sure.

There were no issues with the start, this is the fastest 10k race i've ever done, nailed on pb race!

More Parking issues Hoped it would have been sorted from last year, but parking was challenging again. The rain and a field made it worse than last year but luckily a quicker time meant I did not suffer the worst.

Course is a solid course and good fun, but not sure its a PB'er.

The goodie bag is awful, £16 for an (virtually) empty bag with a wagon wheel in it (which I thought was very tasty), and a sponsor water bottle. Runners were very friendly but quite a few scowls from the locals who yet again seem surprised to see a herd of runners going through their village.

I think it has lots of potential, but still held back by lack of organisation, and the worst goody bag I have ever received.

Fantastic course with real PB potentilal marred by poor organisation. Great course, and fortunately glorious weather, which was good given the 15 minute delay at the start. Warm Up, Cool Down, Race = Injury. Parking was good, but I got there early, and decided to leave early too as the exit looked a nighmare. Passing the slower runners in the last kilometer was badly managed and positively dangerous at times, and poor traffic management left me racing against a Merc Esate trying to get into the finish, and the timing whilst looking the part was hopelesly inacurate. The PB I was celebrating now just makes me look like a pratt! The finish seemed to have some additional mats, so the finish wasn't where the finish mat appeared to be. And finally... the profit focussed organisers don't pay for a UKA license, so your result doesn't count anyway. I don't normally criticise the races I do as I know how hard they are to put on, but these guys call themselves experts and are doing it for the money.

Fast run non-UKA

I got a PB but later found it had no UKA license so does not count. Why do they not tell you this?

Thoroughly enjoyed it!!!!! This was my first race and paid for by my sister which coming from Scotland was a huge bonus!Found parking no problem, registered again! as my sister had my race number sent to Scotland.

Found my way to the start and had great time running around the course and surprised at how many people took time to be friendly. Finished, given bottle of water to dilute my whiskey and got a medal, great day and this will encourage me to continue entering races, thanks for a great race.
