Road race licence applied for
Course mainly flat, with the start and finish at Tilsley Park athletics track. It passes through the town, alongside the River Thames and follows a mostly scenic two lap route through several villages.
Chipped timing, drinks stations every three miles, isotonic drinks on course (Lucozade Sport at 12 and 21 miles), course support for five hours, some road closures, well marshalled, first aid cover, proceeds to charities, food available at start and finish, results available on website. Course not suitable for wheelchairs. All runners must be at least 18 years old on race day.
Please note that for safety reasons Ipods/MP3 players or equivalent are not allowed in this race and any runner contravening this rule will be disqualified.
